  • Admire Nezame-no-toko’s striking rock formations and hear local folklore

  • End the day with a traditional eel dish prepared by a family with samurai lineage


Day 3 – Magome-juku & Nakasendo Trail

  •  Walk along the historic Nakasendo Trail through Magome and Tsumago, once traveled by samurai and merchants

  • Taste kurikomeshi (chestnut rice), a regional specialty full of seasonal flavor

  • Rest at a traditional teahouse and see waterfalls where samurai once trained

  • Explore Tsumago-juku, Japan’s first town designated as a Preservation District, with 100+ year-old houses still standing

  • Stay at a countryside inn and enjoy a heartfelt dinner prepared by local hosts


Day 4 – Monet's Pond, Otaki Limestone Cave, & Gujo

  • Capture dreamlike photos at Monet’s Pond, known for its impressionist beauty

  • Venture into Otaki Limestone Cave for an adventurous underground experience

  • Join a hands-on food sample workshop to create Japan’s famous ultra-realistic replicas
